We are independently operated and not affiliated with any exchange, wallet provider, or blockchain project.

How We Rate Exchanges
Every exchange review on 2Bitcoins follows a structured evaluation covering six categories: trading fees, security practices, supported features, user experience, regulatory compliance, and liquidity depth. We combine quantitative data from CoinGecko (trust scores, volume, proof of reserves) with our own qualitative assessment of each platform.
Reviews are updated quarterly or whenever an exchange makes a significant change to its fee structure, security model, or regulatory status. Every review includes a clear disclosure of any affiliate relationship with the exchange being reviewed. For the full scoring methodology, see our Methodology page.
Editorial Standards
Reviews and guides on 2Bitcoins are researched, written, and maintained in-house by a small editorial team focused on cryptocurrency exchanges and market data. We are not affiliated with, owned by, or operated by any exchange.
- Every exchange review is built from primary sources: the platform's own fee schedule, terms, and security disclosures, cross-checked against regulatory filings and CoinGecko Trust Score data.
- Ratings are decided on the merits — fees, security history, regulation, UX, and support — before any affiliate relationship is considered, and affiliate status never changes a score or ranking.
- Security incidents, fines, and restrictions are reported plainly, including for platforms we earn a commission from.
- Fees, bonuses, and other fast-changing figures carry the date they were last checked; readers are told to verify current terms on the platform itself.
- Reviews are updated when an exchange materially changes its fees, custody model, or regulatory status, and at least quarterly.
